Information for New Graduates

If you are a new graduate of an acupuncture program and looking to set up practice in Alberta, we are happy to help any questions!  As you likely know, acupuncture is regulated by the College of Acupuncturists of Alberta (CAA).  You will need to meet the application requirements listed on their website.  One requirement is usually having proof of malpractice insurance, however this is not usually granted by most insurers until you are accepted by CAA.   Our members have exclusive access to malpractice insurance and can process your membership using proof of successful completion of the AARE, instead of a CAA licence.  Check out our Full Membership application (Student members are not eligible for insurance usually), and contact us with any questions or concerns.
